OCTAVE ÉVÉNEMENTS — The method
WRITTEN.REHEARSED.PLAYED ONCE.
A successful evening is a score whose existence the audience never suspects.
Every event crosses the same four movements, in the same order, without exception. It is a theatre method applied to a single performance — yours.
The four movements
From the intention to the last departure.
The intention
A conversation, not a brief. We look for what the evening must make people feel — everything else, venue included, follows from it.
The score
The evening is written minute by minute: light, music, tempo of service, placement of the silences. Everything that will seem spontaneous is on the page.
The rehearsal
The team plays the evening without you, in the venue, at the exact hour. Whatever catches is rewritten. Nothing is discovered on the night itself.
The night itself
An OCTAVE director standing until the last departure, a team that no longer consults anything: the score is known. You are a guest in your own evening.
The principle
One time only.
A repeated format is a stale format.
No OCTAVE evening is ever replayed. Not for another client, not for the same one. What was created for you dies with the last departure — and that is precisely what makes it irreplaceable.
The network
Houses sworn to silence.
A restricted circle of houses, retained for years, never cited. All sign the same confidentiality we do — none appears on this page, and that is the detail by which you recognise them.
